Leslie Gertie is an army brat that grew up moving around the US and spent 5 years with her family in Southeast Asia, where her father was stationed. She got her first 35mm Minolta camera while living in Japan in 1972 and has been perfecting her photography ever since, starting in the darkroom with film to today’s digital. Leslie processes her photos using Lightroom and Photoshop. The skies you see in her photos are the ones God gave her at the time of capture.
Leslie continued to travel extensively for 20 years with her husband & fellow photographer, JoMar, in pursuit of wildlife and landscape photography until his passing in 2023. A retired public works construction management inspector, she lived in Las Vegas for 52 years before moving to Spring Creek in Northern Nevada where her two children and three grandchildren live.
